The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.

MEETING NOTICE

The MN State Veterans Ass'n will hold its monthly meeting at the LF Legion on Tuesday, 20 Nov at 1930 hrs. I encourage attendance as this will probably be the last chance for imput for the December wreath laying at the cemetery. I plan on going. It would be good to ensure that our officers are knowledgeable about activities. The art project as well as a report from Dave Swantek the cemetery director is on the agenda.
